All our hens are wormed and treated with diomateous earth to prevent mite and ill health.
Their bedding is of wood shavings that have not be treated in anyway. NOT hay that can carry parasites and carry germs and bugs that can make birds ill.
Our chickens are fed layers pellets, corn, mealworms, hot porridge in the winter and chopped vegetables and salad as a treat...
We add tonic with seaweed to their water as a vitamin supplement.
